How to Reinstall Firefox?
Some Firefox may be due to one of the Firefox program files. Follow these steps to completely remove and restore Firefox. Note: You might want to print these steps or view them in another browser.
Download the latest official version of Firefox from org.
- Exit Firefox:
- Click the menu button
- and then click Exit.
- Uninstall Firefox from your computer.
- Delete the Firefox program folder,
- which is located in one of these locations by default:
- C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox. Or, C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox
Now, double click on your latest downloaded exe file and follow instruction to complete installation of Mozilla Firefox.
Now start Firefox and see if your problem is okay or not. If not, continue with the next troubleshooting method.
